Statement Fireplace

At the heart of The Black House, our client envisioned a bold architectural feature, a statement fireplace to complement the home’s contemporary design ethos. Tile Club was brought in to bring that vision to life through precision tiling and flawless detailing.

We used glossy black brick-style tiles, laid vertically to emphasise height and visual drama. The deep, rich tone of the tiles was enhanced by black grout, creating a unified surface with a striking reflective finish. Every corner was expertly mitred, eliminating trim and showcasing clean, crisp lines that elevated the design’s minimalist ambition.

Framing a wood-burning fire, this fireplace now acts as a central design anchor, both tactile and sculptural, drawing the eye while blending seamlessly with the home’s black-on-black palette.
